Movie Magic! Universal Studios, Hollywood California

As soon as you get in, it’s all about movie and tv magic! Riding through tv & movie sets – anywhere from Desperate Housewives’ Wisteria Lane to the Bates Hotel in the Psycho movie. Are you a car-lover? you can check out the famous cars featured in movies like ‘Back to the Future’ or ‘Fast and the Furious’….or sit in on Universal’s Animal Actors show where you can see the animal stars perform stunts and tricks like the dogs from the ‘Grinch’ or ‘Marley & Me’. (Cute!)

For anyone who has been to MovieWorld on Australia’s Gold Coast, Universal Studios is somewhat like that, on STEROIDS, then multiply that by about almost 100!  Yes, it’s pretty amazing.

I love this little “Kwik-E-Mart” Simpson’s store just outside of the Simpson’s ride. It’s all things Simpsons inside and almost feels like you’re inside the cartoon itself.

My favourite part is definitely the rides – I went  on the majority of the rides in the park and they were all crazy fun!….and for all those Simpsons fans, their Simpsons virtual rollercoaster ride was pretty awesome.  They even have a Kwik-E-Mart store where you can purchase all things ‘Simpsons’.  You can also witness a battle in the rainforest between King Kong and Godzilla – and feel their wrath! (I loved that one too).  My travel tip: purchasing a “Front Line Pass” is definitely well worth the money! Who wouldn’t want to cut the queues? With the line-ups to every attraction or ride in this place, you’ll be glad you did.

An oldie but a goodie, the famous JAWS! {insert Jaws theme music here}

Universal Studios is definitely a must see while visiting Los Angeles.  There’s no way you can’t have fun here! If you’ve already been here, how many times have you visited?
